The role is working your territory which is south wales across to the midlands, and is responsible for achieving the territory sales target through developing and delivering high-quality customer focussed account plans in collaboration with cross-functional sales, access and medical colleagues compliantly and within available resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver sales targets, aligned with brand strategy & critical success factors for specified brands through account excellence and customer engagement
• Deliver sales targets through an account excellence mind set and high quality, actionable plans
• Other key responsibilities include, but are not restricted to:-
      o Undertake in depth sales, market, environment and competitor analysis to assess and prioritise the opportunities and risks to delivering the territory sales target
      o Prioritise the opportunity through excellent customer and account segmentation and targeting
      o Understand and Capture the patient care pathway for each account; identify information about “disease progression” or “treatment needs” at each step and the length of time to         transition from one to the next
      o Communicate effectively within the account team and with stakeholders outside the core team whilst recording plans and results compliantly
      o Stay abreast of customer environment and needs which could impact account plans through regular updates & communications across sales, access and medical team. Review plans as         appropriate
      o Drive local, regional influence & advocacy through promotional and non-promotional activities
      o Analysis of environment to drive plans; analysis of actions to review outcomes and tailor future plans
• Demonstrate engagement of Customers with a winning attitude showing passion, belief and genuine interest to drive required actions from customers using the recommended company sales approach:
      o Align call / meeting objectives with objectives, actions and strategies of the  Account  Plan
      o Engage each Customer by demonstrating that you understand their goals, motivations and current behaviours; show you plan to add value to their clinical practice
      o Drive & gain commitment for the change in behaviour as outlined in the account plan agreeing to an action plan

Essential Skills 

• Educated to degree level or equivalent with an ability to communicate complex information simply
• Selling or influencing people to change behaviours / working cross-functionally to achieve a shared agenda
• Effective planning to achieve results
• Self-Development
• Technologically competent
• ABPI Qualified
• Knowledge of the NHS including local decisions, impact on Sanofi and changes that affect their customers 
• Experience of successfully working with prescribers in NHS at the appropriate level for their role with measurable outcomes
• Ability to analyse complex internal and external data
