Ashfield is currently recruiting for an experienced Hospital Specialist to cover Kent, Surrey and Sussex promoting our Clients product within their portfolio. 

We are looking for candidates with a successful, proven track record of pharmaceutical industry sales experience, including experience and success in selling in hospitals and evidence of achieving positive positioning on local formularies or guidelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive environment for our Clients products in both secondary and primary care through the attainment of positive secondary care formulary status for the promoted products and positive product positioning on local treatment and prescribing guidelines.

Key Responsibilities 
• To build positive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Influencers and develop Advocates who use and are prepared to support your brands at local and where appropriate regional and    national meetings
• To analyse sales data and monitor territory performance in line with business plan including sales, market and product growth, market share etc
• To make effective use of local promotional budget and monitor annual spend against budget
• To identify and work with key influencers and decision makers to ensure the positive positioning of promoted brands on local hospital and APC formularies and guidelines
• To maintain a detailed knowledge of NHS policy objectives/drivers and apply this to identify opportunities for growing the business within allocated accounts
Essential Skills
• A successful, proven track record of pharmaceutical industry sales experience, including experience and success in selling in hospitals and evidence of achieving positive positioning on     local formularies or guidelines
• An ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the hospital environment including with authoritative key opinion leaders 
• Highly driven and results focused 
• Well planned and organized
• Excellent selling and negotiation skills
• Experience in Commercial contracts
