Ashfield Healthcare are excited to be working with our client to recruit Directly to Headcount a Strategic Key Account Manager with real Market Access responsibilities. The focus of this role is to lead the creation and payer implementation of account plans. To effectively interact with payers and other key decision makers and influencers to deliver Account Plan outcomes - developing and improving the local business with the Head of KAM and Regional Operations Manager.  Utilise innovative ideas to serve customers and patients in order to deliver results. 
To be, and ensure that all direct reports are conversant and compliant with the ABPI Code and all relevant company internal standard operating procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and leading the importance of compliance. 

Key Responsibilities 

Account Planning
• Accountable and responsible for leading the local creation of an account plan with all relevant internal stakeholders ((e.g. Marketing, MSL, management etc. 
• The identification, management and development of internal relationships with key stakeholders to ensure resource allocation and support of Account priorities
• Identification of areas of customer/account alignment around the relevant brand and disease areas, and plans strategy to approach key stakeholders ensuring advocacy development based on     local environmental knowledge and healthcare delivery
• Spots opportunities and develops business case that identifies the appropriate investment level for developing profitable business within the customer portfolio
• Make financial decisions in line with assigned budgets.
• Maintain all customers records and updates to account plan IP according to local company standards ( eg Veeva CRM, account Plans)

Effective Customer Engagement

• Accountable and responsible for successful delivery of agreed payer facing actions in the local account plan by  delivering high value interactions, drawing on other resources as required   to deliver brand and disease specific value propositions
• Leverage the value and expertise of the entire organisation to co-¬ ordinate resources to present 'one face to the customer' in order to build long term relationships while meeting short    term revenue objectives

Leadership/ Stakeholder Management

• Leadership across area team and cross functionally to ensure plan is effectively locally operationalised in line with brand and customer strategies
• Develops customer insights and regional variation to share with the brand teams to support brand teams to shape localised campaigns

Essential Skills/ Education

• Up to date NHS (UK)/ HSE (Ireland) knowledge
• Commercial environment/ Regulatory environment
• High level of analytical skills
• HP vision and imperatives
• Strong knowledge of local environment and patient pathways
• Clear understanding and experience of Account Management and regional business
• Brand strategies
• Excellent experience of formulary & patient pathways Up to date NHS Knowledge
• Commercial Acumen
• Submission of business proposals and business case submission
• Degree level education
• ABPI (UK)/ MRII (Ireland) qualification
• IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook) ideally a clean driving licence
