Ashfield Healthcare is pleased to be working with a client who are highly experienced in the field of smoking cessation. This is a new approach, and they have conducted some pre work with CCG’s already and have their proposition has been adopted in 1 main CCG and there is an interest from other CCG’s / Mental Health Trusts / Public Health. The role is to engage with payers, Hospital Trusts / AQP’s (Any Qualified providers), Mental Health Leads and Clinical staff to encourage the uptake of the Portfolio of Products in line with the company strategy.

Key Responsibilities ( but not limited to ) 

• To achieve and exceed key sales and formulary inclusion objectives in line with the NHS Mental Health Strategy pathways
• To develop a positive environment within the specified Trusts / HM Prisons / Mental Health Trusts and ensure that commissioning arrangements support appropriate market access and   development
• To identify and develop working relationships with key influencers in the areas of formulary creation, protocol/guideline development and service provision within the NHS
• To identify and execute business opportunities that will increase market share and sales.
• Develop Account Business plans that are cognizant of the strategy for the brand and that drive successful achievement of the National territory key deliverables.   
• Establish strong business relationships with all key customer groups (prescribers and payors) to maximize sales growth.  
• Identify what the guidance is and establish local activity with key stakeholders to neutralise barriers or maximise support towards product inclusion. 
• Develop and maintain timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the overall performance and effectiveness of the company.
• To utilize the CRM to ensure up-to-date customer/territory information, future appointments, and rolling monthly call plan in line with the company CRM guidelines.  To run regular reports   and take any corrective action necessary to achieve key deliverables.
• Working within the constraints of the ABPI Code of Practice and Company Policies and Procedures.

• Strong business analysis and planning skills to maximize ROI
• Excellent customer liaison skills
• Sense of urgency, enthusiasm and drive
• IT literate
• Problem Solver
• History of top sales performance, Commercially astute and driven by sales results
• Ideally experienced in smoking cessation (not essential)
• Successful experience / understanding of NHS structure for prescribing, reimbursement, funding, formulary processes and NHS policies as they effect product sales
• Experience of Key Opinion Leader interaction / influence
• Ability to interact with and educate nurse / smoking cessation advisors if appropriate
• Educated to degree level
