Ashfield Healthcare are proud to be working with Pfizer to recruit Regional Business Support Managers who will develop and maintain customer relationships with specified Key and Core pharmacy accounts, working at a Regional level, in order to develop and deploy a bespoke Value Proposition to maximise sales revenue and ensure a continuous supply chain to meet customer needs.

Successful candidates will work across a broad range of Pfizer’s leading brands. Candidates must have previous experience of working within a pharmacy environment and excellent account management and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relations and Account Management

  • As defined through the regional team resource allocation plan, use Key Account Management principles, develop and maintain business relationships throughout the customer organisation within regional pharmacy accounts, to meet sales targets and deliver against our Pharmacy CVP offering in line with EMB strategy.
  • Understand the key needs of the customer, and develop aligned strategies that deliver demonstrated business benefit to both organisations
  • Anticipate and identify opportunities/issues that may affect business performance or supply chain demands and instigate solutions to manage them.
  • Develop constructive internal and cross-functional relationships with key departments to facilitate team-work, the exchange of information and the development of business opportunities.
  • Regular provision of customer insight from regional accounts and the broader pharmacy environment to aid the development of customer-centric strategies

Projects and Business Development

  • Identify and negotiate with future prospective partners in order to evaluate all projects development potential and to contribute to the business plan development.

Essential Skills

  • Degree level education (or equivalent) desired.
  • Experience in account management.
  • Knowledge of ethical pharmaceutical supply chain.
  • High level of ability and experience in planning, preparation, and presentation.
  • High-level numeric skills and demonstrates initiative.
  • Articulate, able to communicate at all levels of an organisation.  Ability to negotiate.
  • Good understanding of marketing and trade marketing principles.
  • Creative Thinking - Able to demonstrate the ability to come up with new and innovative ways of looking at existing approaches for Sales.
