Ashfield are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Lilly for a Territory Business Manager to work the South Wales territory. Lilly has had a significant presence in Europe since their overseas subsidiary was established in the UK in 1934 and has doubled annual R and D investments in Europe over the past 10 years to over €450 million. We have two major research sites in Europe, in the UK and Spain, in addition to an extensive manufacturing network. 

Key Responsibilities

• Define and prepare the overall business plan for the territory to ensure optimal use of our medicines by the Health Care Professionals.

• Implement the business plan and track progress and make adjustments as required.

• Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of the assigned portfolio of products to be able to fully promote to, support and answer questions of the customer base (HCPs).

• Support customers (HCPs) using key capabilities such as Value Based Selling (VBS) and in line with the Service Value Chain (SVC) operating model of Lilly.

• Identify, prioritise and develop key accounts in the territory for the assigned Biomedicines portfolio of products.

• Partner with other representatives in the territory and across the region (Secondary and Primary care, Key Account Managers) where required to ensure good teamwork and support of the customer base.

• Deliver sales plan for the Territory and progress with key accounts as defined in the Territory and Regional Business Plan.

Essential Skills

• Sales experience with strong results focus and shows initiative.

• Presenting with strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (both with customers and colleagues).

• Awareness of external competitive practice.
