Ashfield is currently recruiting for a Concierge to work with our Client, a leader within the Animal Health industry. This is an opportunity for a new to industry professional to work in an energetic and fast paced environment. Playing an important role for our client, utilising digital technologies to arrange and book appointments with healthcare professionals on behalf of veterinary sales representatives. 

Key Responsibilities (Concierge): 

  • Make outbound calls to target accounts and book appointments with key stakeholders 
  • Work in partnership with field teams to maximise coverage
  • Input and update accurate CRM activity 
  • Achieve call parameters and targets set by Ashfield and the client
  • Provide the Business Manager with accurate and timely weekly/monthly activity data
  • Liaise with all relevant personnel within Ashfield Engage and the client company
  • Build an in-depth understanding of veterinary customers, job roles, account structures and ways of working
  • To contribute positively to the sales team and broader account team you work within
  • Complete basic or full client product training and deliver key product information with customers as and when the opportunity arises (i.e. when booking an appointment if customer request information during that interaction)
  • Take product orders gained as a result of a product information interaction or any other customer request
  • Drive customer attendance at webinars or meetings organised by the client
  • Deliver additional marketing, information and promotional messages (e.g. time-limited discounts or other deals, marketing campaigns, informing branches of head office agreements) as part of intensive “surge” campaigns
  • Obtain and collate customer feedback on specific areas requested by client marketing team

Essential Skills

  • Degree level education (or equivalent)
  • Excellent telephone manner, clear communication skills, a real desire and commitment to consistently over achieve any requirements of the role
  • To build rapport quickly and the desire to deliver on behalf of Ashfield and the Client
  • Working knowledge of veterinary practice roles and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to: be self-motivated, plan and organise time effectively, achieve sales success
  • Evidence of being able to work in a flexible way to manage shifting priorities
