Nurse Advisors work in a variety of environments. As an NMC-registered nurse you could be supporting the work of different healthcare professionals within both Primary and Secondary Care establishments. This could also include supporting patients within their own home or as part of a Clinical Trial or Medical Research Project.

This work may be sponsored by a pharmaceutical manufacturer or other service provider but is always supported through our robust Quality and Regulatory Framework. We have been recognised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as meeting all of their high Quality Standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands on patient care.
  • Education of healthcare professionals, patients & carer’s.
  • Development & delivery of best practice.
  • Care closer to home.
  • Remote patient support programmes.
  • Medical research & clinical audit.


Essential Skills:

  • Active NMC registration.
  • Minimum of two years post registration experience.      
  • RCN member (or equivalent).  
  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS Disclosure or equivalent (Scotland and Northern Ireland).
  • Satisfactory pre-employment medical checks.
  • Phlebotomy / Cannulation skills
