We are pleased to be partnering with a world leading scientific data company to recruit an International Business Development Executive.  This company prides themselves on helping their clients unlock the power of data and measurement to optimise Medical strategies and achieve scientific leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for warm and cold calling clients within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry through a range of digital platforms which will lead to firm business opportunities. You will be responsible for having conversations with senior professionals who work in roles such as medical affairs, medical science liaison and scientific communications to drive engagement and identify opportunities to add value and bring data to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Telephone sales of the company portfolio
  • Appointment generation and follow-up appointments with a BD Director for the leads created
  • Continuous contact (phone, mail etc) to relevant contacts
  • Continuous market monitoring
  • Building the customer relationship, also by means of social media (e.g. LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Preparation of offers in coordination with supervisors/ BD managers
  • Prioritise and organize the lead pipeline for maximum efficiency on a daily basis
  • Learn and leverage service feature
  • Ensure all sales activities are recorded and tracked
  • Prepare BD proposals and presentations

Essential Skills

  • Relevant experience in the healthcare market (Preferred)
  • Acquisition strength, especially in unsolicited calling
  • High affinity for the telephone & video calls
  • Confident linguistic and written demeanor
  • Several years of experience in telephone acquisition
  • Ability to self-motivate
  • High service mentality and sociability
  • Very good handling of MS-Office applications
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Resilient
  • 2+ years of corporate experience with proven B2B sales/Business Development success (global sales experience preferable)
  • Educated to Degree level or above
  • Multi-lingual (preferable)
