Ashfield Healthcare are looking to recruit a Portfolio and Pipeline Reporting Analyst to work alongside the business development team for a specialist pharmaceutical company based in London.

The purpose of the role is to look after the coordination and facilitation of activities to support the progression & delivery of the company’s strategic pipeline. Development & maintenance of key pipeline materials including activity / value reporting and the repository of BD pipeline materials.



Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic pipeline process coordination: Working with the HoP&R, proactive coordination and facilitation of the company’s complex / strategic pipeline process, taking new assets through a robust cross functional evaluation process, activities include facilitation of meetings (recurring & ad hoc) proactive management of pipeline agendas to support continuous pipeline progression, management of pipeline actions;
  • Pipeline reporting: Clear, consistent and accurate reporting of the company’s complex / strategic pipeline process and of their global pipeline activity, status and value. Reporting will vary in consistency from fortnightly to monthly and will be delivered to pipeline process contributors, to Business Management and to the Company Board. Reporting will include: project activity & values, pipeline values, change tracking, meeting minutes & action tracking;
  • Materials Management: Development of new /revised / tailored BD materials (credentials / capabilities / project specific content) to support BD & cross-functional interactions with pipeline partners for strategic, complex BD projects;
  • Global BD process coordination: Engagement with company local business unit BD functions (UK & IRE, NORDIC, ANZ) capturing pipeline activities to flow into the global pipeline reporting;
  • SRM platform management: Day to day management of the strategic pipeline and BD department’s project & pipeline activity in the company E3PM platform (pipeline / CRM / EPM platform). Review of materials/ meetings readiness and management of key pipeline team and governance meetings. Continuous development and management of pipeline & BD department dashboards.
  • File management: Ownership of the ASPIRE strategic pipeline evaluation process folder systems and the BD / Portfolio Management folder systems, ensuring an organised, consistent repository of materials;
  • Competition intelligence: Working with the Market Intelligence department, to ensure the delivery of timely intelligence reports for strategic pipeline assets.
  • Special Projects: Support the VP BD&L with any BD, M&A, Strategic Alliances and other corporate projects that may need support;
  • Non complex BD projects: subject to suitable individual capabilities, management of non-complex central BD projects (portfolio optimisation / non-complex niche generic licensing);

Essential Skills

  • Honours degree
  • 2/3+ years’ experience in the European pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience of managing projects or contributing to projects as a team member 
  • Experience of developing & delivering reporting with the pharma industry



Desirable

  • Experience in a Portfolio or Pipeline contributing role, or in a role actively participating in BD&L activity
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical development, regulatory and launch activities
  • A knowledge of the European pharma sector and the health systems
  • Experience working within a CRM/Pipeline platform
