Role Title: Clinical Account Manager – Infusion Technology

Role Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Clinical Account Manager the main job purpose of this position is to design, co-ordinate and deliver the clinical training of health care professionals in Infusion Technology products to support sales. To manage contracted accounts to ensure profitable contracts are maintained and renewed. A key measure will be the use of infusion sets through the effective and efficient implementation projects.

Main Accountabilities
1. To design appropriate and consistent teaching/training programmes for delivery of clinical training to Infusion Technology customers. This will include the development and agreement of the learning agreement with the customer.
2. To monitor, measure and adapt teaching/training programmes for maximum effectiveness to ensure learning has been achieved by health care professionals.
3. To coordinate the Infusion Device Trainers activity to deliver the nurse
4. To manage the agreed budget for implementations.
5. To conduct pre-purchase clinical presentations and product evaluations.
6. To develop network of contacts relevant to Infusion Technology to promote
products and maximise sales opportunities.
7. To participate in national and local professional meetings, workshops, internal and external presentations to promote Infusion Technology products to health care professionals.
8. Day to day management of Contracted accounts liaising with the Business Development Manager
9. To provide clinical support and expertise with troubleshooting in problem accounts.
10. To handle any customer comments/complaints professionally at all times.
11. To represent the company in a professional manner at all times to maintain a
high level of customer confidence.
12. To lead by example.

Performance Measurement
Performance will be monitored on Main Accountabilities and the uptake of sets in line
with agreed targets.

Experience and Skills
• Experience in managing and delivering clinical training
• Excellent communication skills – needs to communicate clearly and concisely with personnel at all levels internally and externally.
• Problem solving – needs to be able to interpret the requirements of different customers and deliver training accordingly.
• Team Work – needs to work closely with both Sales and Marketing Manager and Account Managers.
• Self directed and self motivated – needs to plan and organise self in order to
meet objectives of role. Must be able to work on own initiative and establish own methods of supporting self and others. Application of Knowledge – needs to be able to apply clinical expertise to a variety of situations.
• Excellent presentation and training skills – needs to be able to train and teach a variety of health care professionals with differing learning styles on Infusion Technology product range.
• Time Management – needs to be able to have ability to manage time, priorities and organise workload efficiently to meet needs of customer and self.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a cross functional team
• Willingness to travel 25-30% of the time

• Qualification in Nursing Registered nurse or equivalent
