Position: Diagnostics Sales Specialist
Territory: London and South East
Type: Permanent - Full Time

Ashfield Engage are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an esteemed client, a Diagnostics Sales Specialist to drive sales in a defined territory to achieve revenue targets, profitable growth and gain market share by following the marketing strategy, thus enabling the Company to maintain and further develop its leading position.

Key Responsibilities: (but not limited to) 
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with all key stakeholders in the NHS to acquire, grow and retain business, in line with sales objectives.
  • Identify, consult and advise strategically to ultimately develop solutions & transform service delivery.
  • Identify & manage new opportunities to maintain a strong sales funnel through creation of a sales action plan to achieve broad business goals.
  • Inspire and Influence a broad customer group through timely various interactions in a sales cycle.
  • Comprehensively evaluate account scenarios and make informed business decisions in a competitive environment.
  • Active contribution on tender response for business acquisition and retention on territory (excluding solutions accounts).

Essential Skills:
  • Tenacious and resilient with a demonstrated ability to acquire new business within complex and multi-layered customer organisations. 
  • Solid go-to-market instincts to feed information back from the field to marketing, access and innovation and sales leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to recognise trends and customer dynamics within the UK healthcare setting. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Clear understanding of the tender process. 
  • Proficiency with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably salesforce.com. 
  • Willing to learn and be challenged, self driven and motivated, capable of working with autonomy and assessing when to involve management support. 
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills backed up by a solid analytical capability and excellent communication/presentation skills. 
  • Team player in a matrix with the ability to influence team member activities without direct authority and across internal functions to achieve objectives. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
