Ashfield Engage is excited to recruit for a European Implementation Manager in Medical Affairs. We are seeking a confident, proactive, forward thinking, and organised individual to join our growing team. The person in this role will build inspiring relationships with our internal teams, prospective and existing clients and be passionate about building and delivering industry leading services.
The role will focus on leading client opportunities from concept, through implementation, to go-live and handover to operations. The individual will be responsible for establishing and leading detail orientated services and driving innovative ideas to ensure delivery of evolving and dynamic client needs.
The ideal candidate will be organised, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, guide and support clients and help build operational groups to ensure the delivery of services to clients and customers. An ability to listen to the needs of those involved in the service and offer ideas and solutions is critical. Everyday provides variety and pushes you to explore your capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project throughout all phases: RFI, RFP, initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and costing
- Lead the project and manage all stakeholders expectations during the project launch life cycle including hyper care phase where the project is transferred to the executing team
- Manage the cross-functional team from selection to completion of project
- Support initial costing, MSA definition and definition of costs with internal departments (e.g.: Business Development, Finance)
- Define and facilitate project scope, objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to structure a project or activity
- Define project tasks and resources requirements
- Plan, schedule, and control project activities to fulfil objectives and satisfy project requirements. Develop full scale project plans through a project management tracking tool (Smartsheet)
- Develop and drive integrated project plans, aligning project tactics with project strategy.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and deliverables and ensure the core team is on track with their deliverables
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders through a pre-set meeting cadence that evolves throughout the launch phase
- Ensure transition of all tasks, responsibilities & client contracts to Account Management/Owner during hyper care phase
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions in addition to conducting post launch surveys for continuous improvement of PMO
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge and application of project management techniques and tools
- Proven experience in strategic planning
- Experience in time, cost, resource, and risk management
- Proficient in project management software
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Excellent influencing and leading skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and computer literacy
