Ashfield Healthcare are looking to recruit Bank Nurse Advisors to work on different projects simultaneously, which may include, education of patients (and/or their carers) in self-administration of therapy, administration of therapy, extra support to existing programmes across multiple therapy areas and to support patient support programmes.

Key Responsibilities

·         To train patients and their carers in the use of delivery devices for the self-administration of the prescribed subcutaneous therapy in immunology, dermatology and respiratory disease, amongst other therapies.

·         Undertake clinical, psychological and quality of life assessments for patients where specified within the programme objectives.

·         To manage and report any adverse events and refer as appropriate.

·         To communicate with and develop relationships with key nursing and medical staff at all allocated healthcare organisations adopting the service.

·         To work with manager, to put in place service agreements in accordance with Company policies with secondary/primary healthcare organisations for the delivery of the service.

·         Undertake risk assessments prior to and during hospital visits as required by Company policies.

Essential Skills

·         Current NMC registration

·         Minimum of two years post registration experience

·         RCN member (or equivalent).

·         Satisfactory enhanced DBS Disclosure or equivalent (Scotland and Northern Ireland).

·         Satisfactory pre-employment medical checks.
